Nermon W. "Sonny" Logston, 77, a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 3, 2008.
Funeral: 12:30 p.m. Monday at Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Chapel, 5725 Colleyville Blvd. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park. Visitation: 10 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday prior to service in the chapel.
Nermon was born on Oct. 20, 1931, in Roanoke to William "Wiley" and Annabell Logston. Nermon proudly served his nation for over two decades in three services, Army, Navy and Air Force, retiring as a tech sergeant in 1970.
He was preceded in death by his daughter, Bonnie Overman.
Survivors: Wife of 57 years, Billie Jean Logston; son, Shawn Christopher; daughters, Chrystina, Linda, Peggy and Cathy; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Lottie Mayberry.
